The Turnbull Studios Gallery shows the work of over twenty different “guest artists” in media ranging from glass to jewelry to oil paintings, watercolors and prints.

You'll find original paintings, jewelry, and ceramics made by the finest local artists on the island of Maui. We frequently have visiting artists working in the gallery. Patrons will have an opportunity to meet and see the artists in action.

Featured Artist:
Bill Sanders

Wailea Daybreak

He has an eye for composition and his use of color is bold and accurate.

"There are so many wow moments on Maui, it's a challenge to capture it. My goal is to create Maui memories on canvas for folks to enjoy when they aren't here on the island."

"Beach Boss"
"30" X "30 $4,200

Taryn Alessandro

“As a mixed media artist, my process involves many layers and a fine balance between structure and play. I refuse to get bored or become mechanical with a painting. Using a wide range of materials opens up my imagination into a whole new playground of possibilities and provides both a visual and tactile experience."

Jan Shaner
Jan is a notable "Plein Air Painter." She shows her love of the Maui landscape with incredible ability to capture color and light.Jan paints with rich oils and a palette knife.
"Sunny Day Koi" 18x18 $1,045

"After the Rainfall, Emerging Falls"
12” X 16” $675
George Eguchi
George was born and raised on Oahu. His love of the islands expresses itself in his oil originals. He is an artist of contrasts; humble and reserved he has chosen a bold and direct painting style, using oils applied with a single palette knife. This painting, "After the Rainfall, Emerging Falls" was created with only 3 colors on his palette.

Ray and Diane Pizzo
Actually called "Glass Fusion", this technique is created by making each piece of the design individually and fusing it together in the kiln. Their colors are vibrant and the artwork showcases our most precious sea creatures and island floral. The glass is both utilitarian and decorative. Ray and Diane can be commissioned to create personal pieces as well; glass sinks, wall dividers, or whatever you can suggest.
